Freshman orientation camps may be undeniably interesting, but they have also attracted their fair share of detractors.
Sexual innuendos, for instance, seem to be a recurring part of student camps (university-related ones in particular), though sometimes they may prove overly uncomfortable for affiliated students.
So much so that this could occur.

In the wake of such allegations, camp culture has since been somewhat “nerfed” (i.e. caused to be weak or ineffective) to ensure a less tense environment for all.
And surely, that meant a more positive school camp experience for everyone.
Right?
Well, not quite, as it seems that over in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), the rules have just been stretched to the most unimaginable way possible.
And during just the preparation phase of a camp, no less.

According to MustShareNews, an Instagram video post has gone viral for its depiction:
Apparently, students from NP were coerced into relieving themselves on each other ahead of a freshman orientation camp.
The video was uploaded to Instagram channel @ginasofsg yesterday evening (22 March 2021). It has since been taken down.

However, another version, which blurs out the acts in the original video, has been uploaded in its stead.
In the uncensored video, a group of boys could be seen huddled in a shower stall around 2 naked boys – who were on their knees.
The crowd seemed to be taking turns to urinate.
Disturbing comments also filled the background, with one asking to “empty your vessels”, and “pee the hair, pee the hair”.
According to a subsequent screenshot, the act, which occurred as part of “hazing”, was supposedly “consensual”.

Not The First Time
Since the revelation, allegations have been flooding the Instagram channel via its Stories function.
Many professed to have seen such acts in previous renditions of Ngee Ann Poly Student Union (NPSU) camps as well, with others alleging that freshmen have been made to do even worse things.
Allegations of a sexual nature also surfaced.
And apparently, sexual assault.
However, a self-proclaimed past member of NPSU did step out to address some of the rumours.

And even then, they could not help but admit to some of NPSU’s alleged wrongdoings.
To end off, here’s an allegation that involves something other than piss.

According to MustShareNews, NP has since stated that they are aware of the video.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
