I‘m not sure about you guys, but personally, I’ve always thought that honesty is the best policy.
That being said, half-honest people really blurs the line for me, since there are times you should probably withhold some information from others.
Anyway, in case you haven’t noticed, today we will be talking about honesty.
(Back to school, kiddos!)

Otherwise, allow me to loosely translate the contents of the article.
A nurse by the name of Koh Sock Buay (许淑梅) was charged yesterday (3 Jan) for misappropriating another person’s property and attempting to injure a police officer. She has been sentenced to 14 weeks’ jail.
It all happened last year, on 5 Jan 2017 when Koh found a wallet at a coffee shop in Jalan Bukit Ho Swee. She then decided to pocket $20,602 worth of cash and a cash cheque worth $6220. Koh then mailed the wallet together with the IC, casino membership and credit/ATM cards back to the owner.
Wait, 20,000 dollars in cash? That’s really careless of the owner!
Anyway, I am really surprised that she actually decided to mail the wallet back to the owner. Perhaps she was feeling guilty about taking the money?
However, little did she know that her actions were caught on the CCTV of the coffee shop. The police later identified her and contacted her on 10 Jan. When she was contacted about the wallet, she claimed that she had not found anything and switched her phone off afterwards.
Gee, if not for the CCTV, I think he can kiss goodbye to all his money!
The day after the phone call, the police went to her workplace in order to question her. It was there that she confessed to her crimes.
Fast forward a few months, on 16 May, when Koh was being arrested at Kim Seng Neighbourhood Police Post, she attempted to bite Station Inspector(SI) Jerald Chua Boon Yao when he tried to handcuff her a second time after she managed to slip her right hand out of the handcuffs.
Koh’s lawyer also added that she is suffering from dysthymia and an aversion to men after being abused by her father until a very late age. This could perhaps explain why she was so reluctant when SI Chua was trying to handcuff her.
Anyway, I hope this will serve as a great example as to why you should always be honest when dealing with others. After all, you never know when someone (or something) is watching!
Since you’re here, why not watch a video about a guy who lodged a Police report here in Singapore because he was friendzoned? Seriously. Here, watch it and do remember to share it (and also subscribe to Goody Feed YouTube channel)!
