Old Chang Kee Will Launch Blue Pea Nasi Lemak Series in Celebration of Hari Raya

When you think about quick and tasty snacks, one place easily comes to mind for me.

Old Chang Kee, and all the curry puffs and cheese chicken balls I’ve consumed.

But beyond snacks, Old Chang Kee has also made some pretty fine nasi lemak as well.

And in celebration of Hari Raya, their nasi lemak is about to get a whole lot more…blue?

Yup, you read that correctly.

Old Chang Kee, together with its family brands, Coffee House, Curry Times, Bun Times and Catering will be launching the Blue Pea Nasi Lemak Series in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.

And trust us, there are a lot of items for you to savour, with some only appearing at selected brands outlets.

Do note that all of these items will be available from 1 April to 31 May 2021.

Blue Pea Nasi Lemak’O

Once upon a time, there was the Nasi Lemak Chicken’O.

And then there was the second version which came out in 2019.

But now, we prepare ourselves for its third-generation version, the Blue Pea Nasi Lemak’O

This pastry is packed with some Blue Pea Nasi Lemak rice in an Epok Epok Crispy skin. The puff is encased with the same delicious fillings of peanut, ikan bilis, masala chicken, sliced egg and a ‘secret’ sambal chilli.

The blue pea rice is good for uplifting the mood and high in antioxidants as well!

Its retail price is at $2.00 per piece, but you can save and get two for $3.60.

The item is available at all Old Chang Kee stores and through delivery.

But maybe you want to have a whole meal and then some?

Enjoy a set of the Blue Pea Nasi Lemak with Aiyu Jelly at only S$11.90 per set with a choice of Curry Chicken, Dry Curry Chicken or Chicken Wing.

We can’t even begin to describe how worth this is.

But that’s not all.

You also get a free Blue Pea Nasi Lemak’O with the set, which you can consume with your meal or just save it for a snack later.

Curry Times’ Wide Selection

If you thought the selection at the Coffee House was good, wait till you see what they have at Curry Times.

Each plate of Blue Pea Nasi Lemak Rice with a staggering 8 different choices of meat!

Sadly, Coffee Chendol and coconut are not applicable for this.
