Humans need their space.
Our office desks have little dividers in between so we don’t end up killing one another after staring at each other for 8 hours a day.
Bathrooms have cubicles because no one wants to see you poop, but more importantly, no one wants to be watched pooping. (OK, maybe some do)
But there isn’t anything separating passengers on a plane except an armrest. Flying on a plane puts you in the uncomfortable position of having to pretend you don’t hate humans for at least a couple of hours.
And this is usually when humans choose to be their most disgusting and annoying.
Passenger Calls For ‘Prison Sentence’ After Man Picks Skin Off His Heel During Flight
One plane passenger has triggered the gag reflexes of people all over the world after a video of his revolting behaviour on a flight was uploaded online.
The clip was shared by the Passenger Shaming Instagram account, an Instagram account that, well, shames passengers.
What did this passenger do? I’ll let you have the pleasure of watching it.
As you can see, humanity is slowly regressing, one scratch at a time.
The video shows a passenger picking at the skin of the underside of his bare foot with his pinky as the little bits and pieces fall to the floor.
The footage was presumably captured by the passenger seated next to the bare-footed animal, who later uploaded the video online.
It was posted with the caption: ‘Happy flying feet Friday, ya’ll! All kinds of NOPE happening up in hurrr…’
I don’t know what’s more disgusting – him picking his filthy foot or doing it incompetently using his pinkie.
Netizen reaction
As you can imagine, netizens were repulsed by the bare-footed man’s actions.
One suggested arming flight attendants with tasers to use on such passengers.
Another was so disgusted he suggested imprisonment.
Unfortunately, there isn’t, and probably never will be, a rule against picking your feet on planes. Hell, you can even bring a goddamn horse on a plane these days.
So, what’s the solution? Accept that there are always going to be gross humans roaming the planet and sometimes you’ll have to sit next to them on planes.
Or you could just abandon your holiday plans altogether. What’s worse, a few specks of foot skin or a life without vacations?
I’ll give you some time to think about that one.
