In Singapore, our cost of living is getting higher and higher.
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is slated to rise to 9% anytime from now till 2025.
Category A of the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices recently rose the highest in more than six years.
Not only so, fuel prices are also becoming more expensive. Just last October, pump prices increased for the fourth time in three weeks.
As the petrol hike situation persists, petrol has been increasingly valuable to many road users.
Unless of course you’re super rich. Or you’re like this motorcyclist.
Motorcyclist squirted petrol at friends in Jurong West petrol station
In a video posted by SG Road Vigilante on 27 Dec, a group of friends was seen refuelling at a Caltex petrol station along Jurong West Ave 1.
But they got too excited and decided to do something else.
Instead, one individual from the group decided to point the petrol nozzle towards his friend.
Apparently, it seemed really fun to them. Oh and surprise surprise, they were not wearing any face masks.
Once the guy noticed that he was being filmed, he sniggered out of embarrassment. He then proceeded to pull his face mask up.
Does it again
If you think the scene ends there, you are wrong.
Despite being aware that he was being filmed, the guy decided to point the petrol nozzle towards his friend again just seconds later.
Moreover, he gave it two squeezes. That caused two streams of petrol to gush out.
Sounds like he was squeezing his money away. But that apparently didn’t matter.

Petrol price
According to Caltex’s Singapore website, the fuel price was last updated on 23 Dec.
The price of the Premium 95 with Techron fuel costs $2.64 per litre. But even if they’re rich enough to use petrol as water guns for a TikTok video, petrol is a obviously a hazardous material.
Just a week ago, a man lit up a car in China by spraying it with petrol while a woman was in the car.
In AÂ Separate Clip
In another video, the same group of friends was also seen with their motorcycles parked along a stretch of road.
The same two guys were seen running in the middle of the road. One of them was chasing the other with a helmet in his hands.
They must be having fun.
