Or both, as this particular trio would attest to.
Inspiring Story of How 3 Friends in the Philippines Graduated from Med School Got Over 62K Shares
On 26 July, Facebook user Ching Macarubbo shared a post from GMA Public Affairs on her Facebook page, detailing the extraordinarily long journey she and her two friends have ventured on as a trio.
According to the post, it goes all the way back to 2011, when they graduated from high school in unison. Despite a lack of intention to enter the same school together, they still somehow found themselves applying for the same college.
Which, in hindsight, really cemented their friendship status.
“We have gone through so much during the years,” said the user. “On the brink of failure, crying ourselves out almost every night, tired & restless especially during our clerkship, but never took quitting as an option.”
And now, 9 years from that fateful day, they stand as the same trio, but with a distinct difference:
They’re now “living” their “vision”.

“Truly, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” she said. “Wouldn’t have survived med school without you two.
“And of course the support of our dear parents.”

When you’ve been friends for ten years, it’s highly likely that it’s an everlasting friendship.
