Remember that T-Pain song that goes, ah ah ah ah ah ah take your shirt off? That was a bop in primary school.
Call me lucky – or unlucky – but I have never witnessed a public striptease… Or a victim of involuntary stripping. Is there a word for that? Public display of nudity?
But not everybody has been spared from the horrors of seeing a naked person on the streets or having the experience of being the naked person on the streets.
That would suck big time… Just ask the woman who was accidentally undressed during a dispute with private-hire motorcyclist.
According to Fei Dian Shi Pin on Weibo, the accident happened on the evening of 19 October at Zhuhai City in China’s Guangdong Province. The woman had allegedly failed to make a complete payment to the motorcyclist and was short of RMB4 (~$0.80 cents) of the total payment.
Clothes Torn Off Unintentionally
According to Channel 8 News, in an attempt to escape from paying the remaining balance, she sprayed the driver on the face with an unknown substance.
The driver quickly caught hold of her preventing her from leaving. Pedestrians merely looked on as the situation unfolded.
Witnesses of the incident told local media that the woman’s clothes were not purposely torn but were only ripped off as she tried to escape.
A video of the scene showed the motorcyclist holding on to the woman from behind as she struggles to escape. From the footage, it is seen that aside from her undergarments, she is almost entirely naked.
Okay, guys, don’t bother to find the uncensored version. All videos are censored so keep your dirty minds away unless you’re from NUS with good GPA.
Netizens React
Many of the comments left on the video suggested that netizens felt that the motorcyclist should not have done what he did despite her being at fault for the incident. However, there are some who sided the motorcyclist.
The incident is now under investigation. As of now, we can’t really come up with a proper verdict of who really is at fault.
I guess this incident is just one of those bizarre things that none of us really expected to happen.
