Singlish.
It’s the language we speak at coffee shops, with friends and family, and with uncles and aunties in taxis.
If you’re not familiar with it, watch this video to the end first:

Polish Woman’s Singlish Video Won the Internet; Singlish is Better Than Some of Us
A Polish woman has gone viral on social media for using Singlish while ordering an ice-cream sandwich.
The video, which was shared by TikToker Mamiczka just three days ago, has already been viewed over 290,000 times.
The 13-second video starts out with the woman ordering an ice cream sandwich in near-perfect Singlish, with the right intonation and appropriate use of the word “one”.
“Hello uncle, I want the bread one, how much ah?” she said.
The uncle, who must have been stunned, replied, “$1.30.”
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the TikToker then topped it off by describing how tasty the dessert sandwich was, in the most Singaporean way possible: “Mmm, ice cream with bread, very shiok!” she said.
Commenters were certainly impressed with the woman’s command of Singlish, with one of them saying that she’s “one of us”.
