POPULAR Bookstore’s HQ Warehouse Sale
Memories of going to POPULAR Bookstore when we were kids to have our mothers pick out assessment books and textbooks for our studying needs probably remain fresh in most Singaporeans’ heads, carried on to this day whenever we visit an outlet for stationery and books.
POPULAR’s also well known for their large warehouse sales that occur at least once a year, of course, that see many flocking down only to leave with sacks of purchases.
This year, however, POPULAR’s doing something special with their warehouse sales, something they’ve yet to do before. It’s almost like their IMM sale, which was their first outlet-centric sale.
Banners announcing this round of warehouse sales were put up at POPULAR Bookstore’s HQ in Serangoon, spotted by netizens.
If you can manage to fit all the items you want into a single basket, the whole thing’s yours – for only $30.
Books, Gadgets, And Stationery Galore
In case you’re wondering if they’ll just provide you with a tiny basket reminiscent of the kind children bring out to play, POPULAR has very kindly included the dimensions of each basket to hammer in the fact that you’ll be getting your money’s worth.
The basket, much like those you see in stores, are 26cm wide, 36cm long and 22cm deep.
Imagine how many things you’ll be able to fit in there, especially if you’re an expert in packing many items into small spaces.
If you’re looking to stock up on enough stationery to last you for a year, or until whenever the next sale is, you’ll probably be able to do so with the size of the basket, whether you buy files, notebooks, or pens.
Or if you’re a bookworm intent on burying your head in books for the rest of your quarantine time at home, here comes the day where you can finally buy more than two or three books for the price of $30, which the cost usually comes up to.
Gadgets for those who are working from home will also come in handy – how expensive are simple gadgets getting now, too?

Hold your horses and excitement for now, for the real race begins on 31 March.
The sale will be held for only five days until the 4th of April at the Serangoon HQ building from 10:00am to 8:00pm.
