Are you a fan of Pornsak? Do you wish you can see him more?
Well, if you are, you’ll be glad to know that you can catch him more on the internet from now on.
Pornsak Has Officially Left Mediacorp
According to a Facebook post on 2 Feb 2021, Pornsak announced that he’s left Mediacorp officially.
After 15 years in Mediacorp, honing his skills through the various opportunities given to him, he is now ready for the next step.
Pornsak is a well-known face to people in Singapore, having started as a television host back in 2007 with Mediacorp.
Since then, he’s gone on to host many shows from different genres and won several awards, including Best Newcomer, the Coolest Rocket Award and was voted to the Top 10 Most Popular Artiste several times.
He Will Be Focusing on New Media & Live-Streaming
So what’s the next step?
For one, he’s already delved in the online shopping sphere at Mdada达达开播 with celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee and fellow host Michelle Chia.
He’s made known that he will be live-streaming with them on Wednesdays, as well as Fridays to Sundays, and invites his fans to catch him there.
Other than live-streaming, he will also be focused on making content for the new media (i.e. Internet) and will be updating his Facebook page with exclusive content soon.
He’ll also be continuing his hosting activities, just not for Mediacorp, and promises that he’ll have “something big” coming soon.
It’s still in the works and he’ll reveal it on his Facebook page as soon as he’s ready.
Mdada达达开播
Back in Sep 2020, we wrote about how three Singapore celebrities have banded together to start a Facebook live-streaming page to sell anything and everything under the sun in Singapore.
The celebrity trio, Addy, Michelle and Pornsak, live stream regularly non-stop for hours on end with their bubbly and lively personalities.
Singlish and English and Chinese and dialects? No, you did not hear wrongly. They speak in so many languages that, if you are not Singaporean, it would be hard to keep up.
On their streams, they engage the audiences by asking questions and making the audience guess the function and purpose of their products before revealing it after someone makes a correct guess.
From Fila handheld fans worth SGD$39.90 to mysterious laundry detergent in the form of paper, they sell and give away almost anything and everything you could think of on their live streams.
In addition to their online business, the celebrities are still going about their day-to-day filming and/or recording schedules. The side business is just a way to earn a side income.
You can check out their Facebook page here.
