Do you wanna catch ’em all, but real-life problems (like work) are always getting in your way?
There’s a simple solution for that: become a true Pokémon trainer.
24-year-old Ivy St. Ive placed an ad on Craigslist on Tuesday offering her services as a real-life Pokémon Go trainer. All you have to do is fork out $20 an hour (and your password), and she promises to “help YOU become the very best”.

The inspiration behind the post came when she dropped her phone while out Pokémon-hunting with her boyfriend — smashing the screen.
All she wanted to do was get enough money to fix it. She told the Observer, “I’m a freelance journalist, so the struggle is real.”
With the time spent on the game, St. Ive believed that if she got $20 an hour, she “could make thousands of dollars”. Half-jokingly, she posted the ad on Craigslist.
The messages started pouring in shortly after.
Some were offers to hire her for her services, but others were kind of scary.
It was a community of “gamer girls” who informed St. Ive that playing on someone else’s account violates the Niantic terms of service. The avid Pokémon fan didn’t want to risk getting banned from the game, so 24 hours after creating the post, St. Ive decided it was time to retire.
She took it off Craigslist — without making a single cent.
Here’s what she had to say about the whole fiasco.

Well, if it did work out for her, I’d probably be the first person to upload my “Professional Pokémon Go Trainer” resume on Carousell.
