I don’t care if your blood is liquid steel and if your muscles are made of cement: even the toughest android that’s devoid of emotions would cry at this.
Here’s a disclaimer: if you don’t intend to cry, don’t watch it.
If not, here you go (up the volume for a tears-guaranteed experience).
I’m not crying; you are.
What Allegedly Happened
The video first surfaced in Twitter on 30 January 2020, and according to the Tweet, the baby is infected (or suspected to be infected) with the Wuhan virus.
The man is allegedly the baby’s father.
I’m sorry but I’ve got to show this to you again:
No doubt this isn’t going to be the first video that’ll make you cry. While some of us get angry over irresponsible people, countless stories like this would fall through the cracks.
Back in 2003, such videos did not exist as YouTube wasn’t even founded yet.
Instead, the closest we can get to a video dedicated to SARS heroes is the song “Hand in Hand” sung by all popular Mandopop singers then:
Lest you’re not aware, radio stations have been playing this song repeatedly to remind us how we’ve overcome SARS before.
Another Touching Video Went Viral Earlier
A few days back, another video of a guy shouting “I love you!” to his wife who was off to fight the Wuhan virus had gone viral, too.
What’s moving is that the man, who’s a doctor, is very bad in expressing his love, so for him to publicly shout “I love you” makes it even more heartwarming.
You can watch it here, and as usual, prepare tissue paper before pressing the play button.
I’m pretty sure there are more of these.
Let’s continue this fight bravely, and we hope the baby will be reunited with the father and the husband would get to hug his wife again.
Over in TikTok, there’s a drama involving property agents that’s caused by us. Here’s what happened:
