Remember the carpool incident at Sembawang?

Yeah, that infamous ‘carpool’ incident.
In case you need a friendly reminder, I shall reiterate it for you.
On 8 August 2017, at around 10.20pm, a grey car with the car plate SGY9231B had pummeled into a swimming pool at Skypark Residences, an executive condominium in Sembawang Crescent.

The Stomper who reported this incident to STOMP received an image of the incident from his father who was staying in the estate.
Well, apparently they have located the driver of the ill-fated vehicle.
A 31-year-old woman was apprehended on August 14 for allegedly driving the car into the swimming pool.
During Stomp’s previous report, eyewitnesses reportedly saw a woman making calls at the scene, who claimed to be a passenger of the car.
According to the woman, her compatriot had gone to look for help, but couldn’t be found after that.
What exactly happened?
The condo’s security guard had offered directions to the man and woman, but they made a wrong turn and ended up on a lawn. A quick application of the brakes resulted in the entire car plunging into the pool.
Not sure how that works. Doesn’t brake means stop?
TNP had reported that there might be another suspect involved in the incident.
The case has been classified as a rash act and the police said investigations are still ongoing.
