Rocher NPC Uses Avengers: Infinity War Spoiler To Convey a Message (Obviously Got Spoilers Here)

Avengers: Infinity War is all everyone in the office could talk about nowadays.

If you haven’t watched the movie…

Why the hell not?!

Okay, just be prepared that there’s going to be a spoiler in the article.

So bookmark this and read after you’ve watched the movie if you’re sensitive about spoilers.

(Actually, seriously, with all the memes, you still don’t get it?)

Moving on…

We all know that the government agencies in Singapore are upping their social media game.

It used to be only SCDF that’s strong in their social media game.

One defender standing strong against the evil forces of Facebook.

Okay, that’s a bit too dramatic, but you got to admit that their advisories typically go viral.

Singing, dancing, everything goes.

They’re like the Mr Brown of Government agencies.

Then, other agencies started following along.

Like the Singapore Tourism Board which once did a video so bad, it went viral.

Then they more than made up for it in a series of Gambling videos for travel insurance.

And they’re not the only ones.

Our friendly neighbourhood Singapore Police Force (SPF) also upped their game in this viral video for scam alerts.

Yup, that’s our video, by the way. *shameless plug*

Then, Rocher NPC happened

We thought nothing would top what we did for the SPF. After all, with well over 545K views, we’re pretty proud of what we’ve done.

Until Rocher NPC released this image on their Facebook Page.

And if you’re wondering why this meme done by Rocher NPC has tickled so many people, it’s with reference to…Avengers: Infinity Wars.

You know, the part where Thanos…(my colleague shouting in the background: DON’T SPOIL IT FOR ME!)

And the Internet approves

Despite the fact that it’s essentially a spoiler for people who’ve yet to watch it, people still loved it.

So don’t leave your bags and wallets at the tables to chope seats, or they’d be gone like ashes in the wind.

Way better than the social experiment on Singapore safety done by CNBC.

Yes, that one where he goes to a char kway teow stall to order chicken rice and got fried rice.

As of now, the Rocher NPC meme has garnered well over 1.2K Shares. I’m 101% sure that all of them have watched Infinity War.

The latest superhero film has so far made USD$1.6 billion worldwide, and it has just opened in China, one of the biggest markets in the world. It’s now the 5th highest grossing movie so far, and it’s still in theatres.

The highest grossing movie at this moment is Avatar, which made over USD$2.7 billion.

But I’ll be Dr Strange and see the future: it’ll well be the highest-grossing movie of all time.

At least, until the next Avengers movie comes out next year.

Now you know what Singaporeans are talking about today; do check back tomorrow for another piece of news of the day!
