Man Took Rubbish From Rubbish Bin & Put Them on a Car That Didn’t Park ‘Properly’

Imagine forking out an exorbitant sum for a COE and another exorbitant sum for a brand new car, only to get two bags of trash placed on your vehicle in a condescending fashion.

Can’t relate? Me too. But rather unfortunately…

The lead heroine of this feature article will probably be able to share a story just like that, during future dinner gatherings

Man Took Rubbish From Rubbish Bin & Put Them on a Car That Didn’t Park Properly

According to dashboard camera footage that was shared to Facebook page SG Road Vigilante on Monday (20 July), a man was filmed retrieving two bags of trash and leaving them on a stranger’s car, much to the chagrin of the affected driver.

In the 1:10 video clip, a man in a white and green T-shirt could be seen walking by a parked car and gazing at it.

He then walked to the rubbish bin, opened the lid and reached in to retrieve two plastic bags.

Closing the lid after him, he proceeded to the right side of the car, where he placed a plastic bag on top. He subsequently placed the other one on the left side of the car.

While it’s unclear what the man took offence with, the Facebook page has speculated that it could be because of the driver’s parking.

The incident took on July 17, at around 11:03pm at Hedgespark condominium, located at Flora Drive. You can view the full Facebook post and video down below:

Incidentally, Netizens, though disapproving, saw a humorous light to the whole fiasco.

Well, one can only hope that the driver would be as ‘forgiving’ too.

Non-Acquainted In Any Sense

On 21 July, Lianhe Wanbao reported that the driver, who’s known only as Huang, had been out visiting her friend on that fateful day and had parked her car in a space wedged between two pillars (near the lift).

It was only when she was leaving the premises that she discovered the little ‘presents’ waiting for her. According to her, it was a little scary at the start.

“At that time I was a bit afraid, I didn’t know if someone was pulling a prank on me. What if there were snakes or insects inside?” she said.

Fear soon, however, turned into pure disgust.

“Upon closer inspection, I realised it was leftover takeaway boxes inside, which is so disgusting.”

Not just disgusting but unsafe given the COVID-19 threat.

She clarified that she did not know the man, and added that he should have at least left a note explaining his actions.

“No matter what, as long as you tell me the reason, even if it’s leaving me a note, I would be grateful. This looks deliberate, and I can’t find think of any reason to defend you… Why are you so disgusting?”

She also said that she would apologise if she genuinely made a mistake, adding that the other party should not have resorted to such a crude manner of doing things.

Apparently, the space did not have any sign indicating it was a reserved spot, and Huang only parked there after making sure that she was not breaking any rules.

Later on, she would discover that her friend had previously parked in the same location as well, only to be told by security to shift the vehicle.

Well, that leaves just two possible scenarios:

One, the man has a habit of disrupting cars parked in that particular spot, and so security guards frequently discourage residents/visitors from parking there. Or two:

It was indeed an illegal parking spot, and the man was actually Kamen Rider in disguise.

Now, we can’t be sure about the accuracy of either hypothesis, but one thing’s for sure;

Nobody’s gonna be parking in that particular spot for a while.
