Do you have unwanted running shoes lying around at home and can’t bear to throw them away?

Well, how about giving them away for a good cause while getting some benefit out of it?

No, I’m not talking about selling them on Carousell.

Instead, you can donate them to Running Lab.

Don’t Say Bojio: Donate Unwanted Running Shoes To Running Lab & Get S$50 Voucher (Until 31 Mar)

Running Lab’s Project Love Sneaker is back again.

From 1 to 31 Mar 2021, you can bring your used running shoes to selected Running Lab outlets and receive a S$50 shoe voucher in exchange.

You can drop your shoes off at the Running Lab outlets at the following locations:

  • Tampines
  • Marina Square
  • Novena Square
  • Westgate
  • Great World

Conditions Of Shoes Must Be Acceptable

Of course, as the shoes will be getting a new life (i.e. they’re giving it to the less fortunate), they must be in serviceable conditions.

To successfully donate your shoes, they must:

  • Have no holes in the outsole or the upper part of the sole
  • Be intact: meaning no missing or damaged outsole of the shoe, shoelace, etc
  • Not have a fully worn-out outsole
  • Not be canvas shoes

Lifestyle shoes that look like running shoes and children’s shoes are acceptable as long as they are in good, reusable conditions.

Terms & Conditions Apply:

  • The Running Lab retail staff has the right to reject shoes that are deemed not suitable
  • Each pair of donated shoes will net you S$50 Running Lab vouchers to be used on Running shoes only (excluding sandals)
  • The voucher is valid for one-time use only and cannot be combined

Soles4Souls

Soles4Souls is a Tennessee-based charity that deals with shoe redistribution. Founded in 2006, the charity has given out over 30 million pairs of shoes in a staggering number of 127 countries.

What they do is collect new and used shoes and clothing and redistribute them to people in need. They also work with various charitable organisations and micro-enterprises to bring aid to impoverished children in developing countries.

Previously, they’ve also worked with Skechers to raise over 21,000 pairs of shoes.
