Running Man Cast Will Hold an Online Fan Meeting via TikTok on 5 Sep

It’s the start of yet another Phase 2 Heightened Alert, and you might be feeling a little down with all the restrictions.

Where are the good ol’ days where we could meet up with many of our loved ones without having to mask up and worry about getting infected?

Other than social gatherings, many concerts and fan meetings with your favourite celebrities have also been postponed for safety reasons, resulting in many people having to resort to watching only playbacks of their favourites on their computer screens at home.

But here’s some good news for you that might cheer you up, especially if you’re a Running Man fan who has been eagerly waiting to see the cast in a live setting!

Running Man 2021 Online Fan Meeting

Every year, the Running Man cast has met fans at their fan meets in various countries. This year, they will be holding an online fan meeting via TikTok on 5 September 2021, at 6pm SGT instead!

This meeting is planned and produced by NP C&C, a subsidiary of brand experience content solution company NPInc. It will be held at NP XR STAGE and broadcasted live exclusively on TikTok in six different languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian.

Head of Global Business Development at TikTok Korea, Jay Bae, said, “TikTok’s live streaming through pre-verification system was first introduced in May and we have received positive feedback as well as meaningful results afterwards, including Lotte Duty Free Online Family Concert, Beautiful Mint Life 2021, and FOREST 21 Epik High Concert. TikTok will continue to make efforts to provide better customer experiences to domestic and foreign users.”

Things to Note:

This is an online live streaming event that you can watch on either a smartphone or PC. Do note that Video-On-Demand (VOD) service is not included.
A physical ticket is not provided for this event. Instead, you will receive a verification code that you must input to watch the event via the TikTok application or TikTok website.
People who purchase the tickets during the priority sales period from 16 July to 23 July will have a chance to win either an online photo session, signed poster, or polaroid. Further information will be uploaded on Running Man’s official Facebook Page and Instagram.
You must be at least 13 years old to watch this event on TikTok.
Viewing Page (Live Room) will open three hours before the event begins.
You can input your verification code and watch the event after the viewing page (Live Room) is open.

Precautions for the Online Fan Meeting

Except for watching the event from the official viewing page, any other behaviours such as recording, extracting the streamed video, and streaming the video at a place where many people can view are strictly prohibited.
Distribution and/or reproduction of the content without receiving any consent from the copyright owner shall be deemed to be an infringement of copyright which is illegal.
If anyone or a company gets caught with the above mentioned prohibited behaviours, there shall be legal actions taken due to the violation of copyright law.
Refund shall not be provided due to the customer’s network problem. Please check mobile/browser support specifications before purchasing the ticket.

You must sign up for TikTok to watch this event.
- Install TikTok application or access the TikTok webpage
- Sign up for TikTok
- Start TikTok -> Tap ‘Inbox’ -> Tap the Live Room of this event
Another method to access the Viewing Page (Live Room):
- Start TikTok -> Tap ‘Discover’ -> Refer to TikTok ID list below for each language and search the corresponding TikTok ID -> Tap account profile
Viewing Page (Live Room) will open three hours before the event.
After Viewing Page (Live Room) is open, you can input your verification code and watch the event.
This event will be live-streamed in six different languages in six different accounts, and simultaneous translations will be provided for each language except for Korean.
