Lest you’re unaware, our favourite S-Hook Ah Lian was recently signed with Mark Lee’s production company.
Which was surely headline-worthy news, seeing how just a a few days back she was promoting S-hook T-shirts…
THIS AH LIAN IS THE FUNNIEST SALESPERSON I SWEAR! You can hook whatever you want to hook!!!! I ded hahahahahah!

And a dress that threatened to spill out your ‘luncheon meat’ and ‘seaweed’.
But to be fair, those were the videos that propelled her into the limelight, so I guess the S-Hook T-Shirt did serve one more purpose:
Hanging the potential fame of customers.
It’s not over
If you thought that being signed with Mark Lee’s production company is the pinnacle of it all (you can read all about it in my colleague’s article here), you’re wrong.
As it is, it seems that the entertaining marketer’s meteoric rise to fame is yet to end, as she has been ‘talent-scouted’ by none other than…
This dude.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Your favourite Ah Lian (sorry Premium Lian) has just gone…
Global.
4 million subscribers
That’s right; the dude you saw above is none other than Maxim Bady, an online star with over 4 million subscribers (in total).
The 26-year-old comedian is from Africa and currently stays in London.
And if you have no idea who he is, this is a guy who garnered fame for his numerous over-the-top reactions to viral videos (seriously, way over-the-top).
(Incidentally, his Instagram account boasts 138.9K followers, which is like 100,000,000 times more than my own Instagram handle @notzhihao. Holy shet.)
And it seems that his latest viral video in mind is none other than one from our own sunny shores…
The Ah Lian S-Hook T-shirt promoter.
Crikey, she’s going places huh?
In the video, the comedian questioned why anyone would hook a plastic bag on his/her chest.
Well, believe me, Bady. We’ve no idea why as well.
He also asked some pretty legitimate questions.
Which I’m sure guys would relate to but would never admit.
But as it turns out
Our favourite Ah Lian is our favourite for a reason, and she showed it by convincing even Bady to shell out some hard-earned money for it.
Though whether he did get it is another question altogether.
Here, you can see the video for yourself down below.
Going places
Having now been signed with Mark Lee’s production company and being featured on an international Youtuber’s channel, you can’t help but marvel at the entity known only as Ah Lian (or Lerine Yeo).
And it’s really kind of incredible how a woman everyone once laughed at, turns out to have the last laugh.
Kinda makes you wonder about life, huh?
And by the way, she lives in Yishun.
And she’s married.
