Saizeriya is not an unfamiliar name to Singaporeans.
Besides its widely located outlets, the restaurant promises Italian food at an affordable price, making it a perfect place to hangout for both students and families.
But what was most popular about the restaurant was its free-flow drink bar, which has taken a two-year break due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Today, we finally bring Saizeriya fans some good news.
Free-Flow Drink Bar to Return
Yep, that’s right.
The beloved and arguably the best part of Saizeriya is set to make a comeback.
How do we know?
Well, the restaurant responded to a comment on its Instagram page, promising that the free-flow drink bar will return “soon”.
To double confirm that, it also replied to another comment on its Facebook post, echoing the same return.
However, the exact date is still unknown as Saizeriya only mentioned that it will announce the date “in due time”.
Replaced By Normal Drink Menu
During the pandemic, the free-flow drink bar was unfortunately closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
To order drinks, customers had to order from a revised drink menu that charged per drink ordered instead of the set price per pax.
Furthermore, the options of drinks available had noticeably reduced from having both cold and hot drinks to only cold canned drinks.

This change was no doubt the biggest difference in the dining experience for customers.
One customer said that she had expected to drink to her heart’s content and was disappointed to find a notice on her table stating “Due to Phase 2 regulations, our Drink Bar & Condiment Station will not be available.”
Fortunately, this method of drink service will be gone soon and it will definitely not be missed.
So stay tuned for more updates from Saizeriya and get ready to drink as much as you can when the drink bar returns!
