If you’re not going anywhere this end of the year for a winter holiday, don’t be too upset because even though you won’t be experiencing negative degrees and playing with snow, you’ll still be able to grab a sweater when you walk out onto the streets of Singapore.
Say hello to sweater weather because according to the Meteorological Service Singapore, the current cooling weather will continue throughout November.
More Rain, More Days To Wear Hoodies & Pullovers
If you have been stowing away your comfy pullovers, it’s time to take them out again because the weather is becoming colder!
Rainy days are to be expected because of the Northeast Monsoon season which blows strong winds from the northeast or northwest directions.
As a result, temperatures will be dropping to as low as 23°C on some nights.
For Singaporeans who hardly experience temperatures in the low 20s in Singapore, this is a gift.
The weather in Singapore can be so hot that we perspire the moment we leave our house. Even if it’s just to buy some lunch or you’re on your way to work, you’ll notice that beads of perspiration would have formed on your forehead by the time you reach your destination.
Thankfully, with this rainy season, we will be able to enjoy a commute without perspiring as much.
Daily Temperatures
Daily temperatures will range from 24°C to 33°C.
Even though there may be days where it will be quite hot with a temperature reading of 34°C, it is expected that there will be more days of cooler weather. Hopefully, this fact makes up for the few days of warmness during this period.
So if you have plans in the evening, maybe this time it would be good to listen to your parents to “bring a sweater along with you, it’ll be cold tonight”.
It has also been said that this weather will continue until March 2020.
So until then, fingers crossed, everybody!
