If you’ve known about the Stanford Prison experiment, you’ll know that great power corrupts absolutely.

The experiment placed normal young men into roles of prisoners and prison guards. Their behaviours were then studied throughout the experiment.

Initially a 2-week experiment, it was ended within six days because the prison guards went crazy with power and tortured the prisoners.

The study concludes that when a person is given the power of authority, he’ll become a tyrant.

Just like my boss – I mean, like this security guard.

Security Guard in M’sia Seemingly Exhibits Tyrannical Behaviour

Imagine this: You’re a poor disabled man who’s determined to earn some money instead of depending on charity.

Admirable, right?

Unfortunately, not everyone seems to think so.

When you enter into a building to sell your wares, the building’s security guard suddenly attacked you.

He smacks your stomach, hit the back of your head and kick your shins.

If You Think It’s Fiction…It’s Not

Despite how it unbelievable it sounds, this incident really happened.

Here, watch the video first.

Uploaded by Twitter user @theo.faris, the video shows a security guard physically assaulting a man at Perlis.

Disabled Man Beaten Up By Security Guard

According to him, the man who was assaulted is disabled and merely went into the building to sell his food items.

He also mentioned that the building doesn’t allow touting.

“This is so uncivilised, the uncle just wanted to sell some things, even though the place doesn’t allow it, it’s not necessary to beat him up like that. He didn’t deserve to be treated that way.”

Even When Disabled Man Wanted To Escape, Security Guard Continued His Assault

Now, if he had kicked him once or twice before letting him go, that’s still somewhat reasonable.

Okay, it’s not but anyways.

But if you have watched the video fully, even when the man was backed up against the wall, and when he was hastily trying to leave, the guard continued smacking him.

Disabled Man Not A Pervert, Netizen Claims

Online rumours said that the disabled man was a “known pervert” who takes “lewd videos of people”, which was why the guard was overzealous in his actions.

However, a netizen has come forward to dispel the rumours, saying that he knew the disabled man for years.

He verified that the disabled man wasn’t a pervert and said he usually sells his things without making a fuss.

The security guard has since uploaded an apology video here (you need to scroll down as it’s a video comment on the original video).

Meanwhile, it’s not known if the disabled uncle managed to recover from his injuries.
