Police said preliminary investigations indicated that the man had allegedly used his position to register a sole proprietorship in his wife’s name without her knowledge.

He allegedly issued the invoices through that business to his employer. Police further alleged that he used the proceeds for personal investments and expenses.

Scheduled to Face 13 Charges

The planned charges comprise six counts each of cheating and money laundering, and one count of unauthorised access to computer material.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
