Shake Shake in a Tub Introduces Fried Potato Balls with a Nutella Melted Core

These days, who still eats plain finger-food snacks, especially when you can choose to shake it up with Shake Shake in a Tub?

For the uninitiated, Shake Shake in a Tub is a Halal-certified Singapore brand that specialises in innovative finger foods in a tub.

They take your boring ol’ plain chicken wings, fries, or popcorn chicken, and spice them up with different flavours like BBQ, Cheese, Curry, Laksa, Mala, Salted Egg, Sour Cream, Sweet Corn, and Truffle.

And now, they’re back with a new outlet opening in Bukit Panjang Plaza with a dine-in area, as well as a new menu addition that is bound to make your mouth water after looking at it.

To make things interesting, Shake Shake in a Tub has decided to create an east-meets-west curation of fried potato balls with a Nutella melted core, called the Shake Shake Bola Bola.

That’s right, melted hazelnut chocolate wrapped in doughy fried potato, dusted in whatever flavour topping you want.

It makes for the perfect dessert and definitely reminds me of one of Taiwan’s famous snacks, Fried Sweet Potato Balls, except this time, it’s much better.

Savoury Flavours Available Too

If you’re not a fan of something sweet, don’t worry. Shake Shake in a Tub has got your back.

Other than the introduction of the Nutella core, they are also introducing two new savoury flavours, and you can choose between Nacho Cheese or Tom Yum.

With the flavours oozing out, it makes for the perfect dipping sauce to go with Shake Shake’s classic shoestring fries.
