It’s pretty obvious that Show Luo hasn’t been in the best of mood recently.
The 40-year-old star, who doesn’t seem to age even a year since he debuted, has just broke up with his girlfriend of five years. But it’s not the breakup that made him one of the most-searched people in Google; it’s the revelation of what he did during his relationship, which he has so far made no effort to deny.
According to his ex-girlfriend, Show has been bringing different girls to his home whenever his ex-girlfriend wasn’t around every day, and even engaged in “group exercises” that ordinary people couldn’t imagine.
Don’t even ask me what the “group exercises” are, although you might want to know that the dude has also been in the news lately for having a pool party with 20 “busty” influencers.
Needless to say, Show has been losing many shows recently; fans have started calling for his removal in the shows Go Fighting! and Produce Camp 2020.
In particular, Produce Camp 2020 is a reality TV competition featuring young female contestants.
And it would appear that Show may have lost those jobs, as Taiwanese media noted that content related to Show had been removed in the websites of those programmes.
Contracts in China also includes a stipulation that performers must not do anything going against moral values, or the company reserves the right to end the working relationship between the two parties at any time.
Taiwanese media estimates his earnings to be NT$180mil (S$8.5mil) from each of the two programmes, for a total of NT$360mil (S$17mil). And that is not excluding his potential appearance on future shows.
And if this manager’s claims are to be believed, then the removal of him in these programmes could’ve been more than just moral values.
Show Luo Allegedly Barred All Artistes from a Manager Coz 1 Of Them Rejected His Advances Before
According to a Facebook post by Eddie Chen, an artiste manager, Show doesn’t just lack moral values; he’s so unprofessional, he let his other head think instead.
In the post, Eddie spoke about how over ten years ago, when Show was filming the movie 苹果咬一口, he asked his co-star Ann Yeh out for a date but she rejected him.
This is a clip from the movie whereby the couple kissed:
Soon after, Eddie was triggered that Show’s assistant suddenly called Ann Yeh to her room to ask her personal questions like the nature of Ann’s relationship with Show lah, where they got to know each other lah and whatnot.
Because Eddie was Ann’s manager, he wasn’t happy that he wasn’t informed about this meeting.
After that, it was revealed that Show wouldn’t be allowing all Eddie’s artistes in his programmes.
In his post, he also alleged that Show claimed that he was good friend with Jay Chou, but in private, he said Jay Chou’s singing is mere “so-so” and he could sing better.
Here’s his post:
Of course, there are only two possibilities for this exposé:
- The manager has pent-up hatred for Show and can finally expose him now because he thinks Show cannot bounce back to the industry now
- The manager is promoting his own artistes
Whether it’s true or not, one thing remains constant: Show’s probably going the Edison Chen route le.
