Well, look who’s back.
Reader Bao: Bubble tea?
No, and I’m baffled by the fact that you didn’t read the headline before coming in.
Singapore Pools will finally be back after more than two months of hiatus, but their services are so limited now, it’s like Circuit Breaker moving to Phase One—not much difference.
But at least if you’re one who’s got richer in the last two months, you know where to donate your money to.
S’pore Pools Will be Back Tomorrow (15 June) But Limited to Just Online Purchase of Sports Betting
From tomorrow (15 June 2020) onwards, online sports betting will resume and online horse wagering (for overseas races) will resume from Wednesday, 17 June 2020.
The usual 4D, Toto and Big Sweep still remain suspended even when you think they’re essential to you.
All other Singapore Pools’ outlets (branches, authorised retailers, Livewire venues and Off-course Betting Centres) will remain closed until further notice.

An announcement will be made for the extension of eligible prize-winning tickets for lottery draws, sports and/or horse racing events held between Thursday, 10 October 2019 to Sunday, 5 April 2020 when prize payment services resume.
For any enquiries, the Customer Service Hotline of 6786 6688 can be called from Monday, 15 Jun 2020 onwards or email [email protected].
Would 4D and Toto be Back on Phase Two?
Details about Phase Two haven’t been released, but Minister Lawrence Wong has told Bloomberg that almost the whole of the economy can be reopened by the end of this month, which would coincide with the beginning of Phase Two.
According to the multi-ministry task force, they will assess the results of Phase One in the first two weeks of June, and update us on the plans about Phase Two.
Well, it’s the 14 of June now, and Singapore Pools has partially re-open.
I’m no expert but I’m kind of thinking like experts now. Geddit?
See you very soon, Mr Bubble Tea.
