It has become a habit of us to judge everyone who’s born with a silver spoon. We normally assume that they’re pretty much dependent on their family’s wealth and are incapable of achieving anything on their own. There is a man, however, who is different. Born in 1995, Mario Ho Yau Kwan is the third child of Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho and his fourth wife Angela Leong.

When he was 18, he got offered places in both Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Oxford.

As many of you have realised, I graduated in 3 years. Let me do a bit of explaining.. On average MIT students take 4 classes a semester. In my second year, I took 8. It meant I didn't have time to party much, or even to eat much, it meant I had so much work I'd forget which problem set was for which class. Why I put such a burden on my shoulders? Aside from wanting to start my own company, I wanted to show the world I could achieve the impossible. The person next to me, he is the only other person I know in my year that also graduated early.

He was only 21 years old.

After graduation, he chose not to rely on his family’s wealth and moved to Shanghai alone to start his own business.

Just like any other boy, Mario Ho has grown to love soccer and has gathered numerous signatures from many sports stars.
He also participated in many television shows. Recently, he gained fame through his amazing performance in the recent Chinese show “Burning Brain”.
Among 100 contestants, he emerged first twice in three rounds of competition, wowing everyone with his mathematical skills. This gave him a direct ticket to the final round.

He also likes to show how much he loves his younger sister, which gives him a lovely brotherly image.

Although he is often away from home, we can see that this guy has a good heart towards those that are important to him.

And of course, he’s still a rich guy after all.
