It has become a habit of us to judge everyone who’s born with a silver spoon. We normally assume that they’re pretty much dependent on their family’s wealth and are incapable of achieving anything on their own. There is a man, however, who is different. Born in 1995, Mario Ho Yau Kwan is the third child of Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho and his fourth wife Angela Leong.
Stanley Ho is known as “The King of Gambling”. He’s responsible for the rise of Macau as a gambling haven.
He is also Macau’s wealthiest person and among the richest in Asia.
Stanley Ho has four wives and seventeen children in total, and Mario Ho is the youngest living son.
More about Mario Ho
Mario Ho is of various descent, including Hong Kong, Holland, Iran, England, and Jewish. This explains his prominent features.
He was well-known among the media for dating Yumi from local celebrity unit BY2. The couple broke up eventually.
Mario Ho’s not just a pretty face, he’s also a mathematical genius.
As a child, he already had impressive results. He won the championship title twice in a national math competition in Hong Kong.
When he was 18, he got offered places in both Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Oxford.
He chose the former and finished a 4-year course at MIT in just 3 years.
In the same year, Mario Ho was accepted into the university’s Master of Finance Program, making him the youngest student in history.
He was only 21 years old.
After graduation, he chose not to rely on his family’s wealth and moved to Shanghai alone to start his own business.
He also likes to show how much he loves his younger sister, which gives him a lovely brotherly image.
Although he is often away from home, we can see that this guy has a good heart towards those that are important to him.
And of course, he’s still a rich guy after all.
