If a rather large man in a red costume with a great white beard came up to you on the street and passed you $200, you might be a little confused.
“You’ve been nice this year, so here’s your Christmas present,” the strange man says before running away suspiciously.
So, there you are, $200 richer, wondering what to do with the extra cash.

Some might save it, some might buy a nice gift for their partners, while others might use it to pay for their daily intake of bubble tea.
But why do that when you can buy some used pillows from influencers?
S’pore Influencers Are Now Selling Their Used Pillows Up to $200
It’s already the last month of 2020, which means nothing should surprise you at this point.
Several local influencers are selling their used pillows online, with prices ranging from $20 to $200.
Enter The Sleeping Beauties, an online store where you can buy the pillows hugged, slept on, and possibly drooled on by your favourite influencers.
Not only is it good for your heart, and possibly other parts of your body, it’s also environmentally-friendly, as it’s:
- 100% polyester (100% recycled)
- 100% polypropylene
- 100% used with love
As you know, most of our pillows are only 68% used with love, so this is quite a treat.
There are a total of 24 pillows used by 24 different influencers on offer, with most within the $50-$100 range:

“Made Me Feel Less Lonely”
But, you’re probably asking yourself, why would someone want a used pillow?
Well, firstly, you’re underestimating the love some people have for influencers.
Secondly, some customers claimed that it made them feel less lonely, which would be particularly helpful after a break-up.
Just take a look at these testimonials, all of which just happened to be from an anonymous source.
If hugging a pillow hugged by an influencer is something you want, head here to find out more.

Gamer Girl Sells Bathwater
Now, if used pillows aren’t your thing, what about used bathwater?
Well, that’s exactly what 19-year-old Mary-Belle Kirschner is selling.
The UK-based gamer girl and model has over 4.2 million followers on Instagram, and recently became a businesswoman.
She announced she would be selling $30 bottles of “bath water for all you thirsty gamer boys” in an Instagram post.
Speaking to the Guardian, she said: “Lots of people would comment on my photos saying they would drink my bath water. I was thinking of ideas one day, and it just popped into my head. What if I actually bottled and sold my bath water?”

She’s warned her fans, however, that the water is not for drinking and should be used for “sentimental purposes” only.
I’ll leave it to you to decide what that actually means.
In the meantime, I’m going to eat half a plate of Chicken Rice and see if anyone on Carousell wants to buy the other half.
