It’s April 2019, and you know what that means.
There’re just eight months left to 2020!
Indeed, with 2020 being so… close, one will no doubt be thinking:
“When are the public holidays in 2020? Gotta plan out my long weekends and impromptu holidays, babe.”
But how do we find out? How do we unearth such valuable ‘insights’? Well, ponder and worry no more for we’ve all the information you need.
At no hidden cost.
Public Holidays in 2020
If you’re the long-term kind of thinker, your 2020 public holiday dilemmas will surely be put to rest now considering how publicholidays.sg has churned out a national calendar of all 2020 public holidays.
Take note, however, that the dates in this table are purely an estimate. They may be modified once official changes are announced.
Now I’ll be damned, but first and foremost, we’re not gonna get much CNY perks in 2020, if the calendar above was to be believed. With the eve taking place on a Saturday, we’ll only be entitled to an off day on 27 Jan (Monday), when in more ‘auspicious’ years we could’ve been entitled to two.
Oh man.
But altogether, it seems that the rest are pretty set in place. And after surveying the entire thing, the Goody Feed team has subsequently come to a conclusion:
There’ll be not one, not three, not twenty-five, but seven long weekends in 2020.
Not too shabby at all!
And so… remember to keep those dates in check!
Sure, 2020 isn’t exactly that, for lack of a better phrase, close. After all, there’re still eight full months till the dawn of the new year, and as mothers would surely attest to that’s a really long time.
But hey, as a Wise Old Man once said:
“It’s clever to wait till the new year. It’s wise to start planning ahead of the new year.”
And so, really, just like family planning… it might be wise to start planning those holidays ahead of time.
Trust me; I’ve a degree in this.
Editor: You do know that the holidays might change, right?
Well, life’s all about challenges, isn’t it? 😉
If you’d like see it in a visual form, the cool folks at CNA has created this handy graphic (that’s fast – but hey, everyone’s happy so a happy worker is a fast worker):
