S’pore SHINee Fans To Hold Memorial For Jonghyun At Hong Lim Park Today (20 Dec) At 7.30 p.m.

I believe we have all heard of the news.

The lead singer of k-pop group SHINee Kim Jong Hyun had unfortunately passed away on Dec 18.

Reports suggested he died of cardiac arrest from carbon monoxide poisoning.

A frying pan with coal briquettes was found in the room. Charcoal briquettes can cause carbon monoxide poisoning in closed rooms.

His last text to his sister was to tell everyone that “it’s been hard” and to “let him go”.

His label, SM Entertainment, referred to him as “the best artist who loved music more than anyone and always worked hard for his performance”.

Fans worldwide are mourning for the loss of a great artiste.

Shawols (SHINee fandom name) in New York and the Philippines have organised events for fellow local Shawols to come together and remember Kim.

In Singapore, a group of fans also did the same.
