I don’t know about you, but I hate passive aggressiveness.
I’d rather you come to my face and scold me in any colourful language you can muster, rather than a long message that looks like it’s for BuffLord95 but is obviously targeted to describe me.
Because you either be a man and stand up to me, or just shut the f*** up.
But it seems like in recent times, passive aggressiveness has become a new way to attack others.
Like this latest incident, which of course is essentially a one-sided story but the passive aggressiveness is a tad too much to handle.

Yesterday, Facebook user Jack Lee took it to Facebook to share a “bad experience” with a wedding photographer. Here’s the super long post with super long WhatsApp messages:
So, super long story cut short, we’ve come out with the tl;dr version:
- Couple has already paid for a videographer for their wedding, but decided to forfeit the deposit to the videographer to engage Allure Wedding, most probably due to its good portfolio
- It seems like Allure Wedding was willing to lower its price to get the couple’s business
- It was alleged that Allure Wedding would send its Principal Videographer (the main videographer?) in this message sent by them: “oh you mean this? means although we reduce the price for you, i’ll still be there to shoot your wedding for you.”
- They had engaged them to shoot the ROM as well
- Two weeks before the wedding, the couple was told an Associate Videographer would come instead
- Couple isn’t happy because they wanted the Principal Videographer
- Couple told to send an email to Allure Wedding with words provided by Allure Wedding to cancel the shoot during the wedding and to receive the ROM footage
- Now, this is a very one-sided account: Allure Wedding then claimed he’s not paid enough and the couple is asking for too much
Suffice to say, anyone would be boiling with anger if that one-sided account is true.
There are always two sides to a coin…until a temper is lost and a shade is thrown.

Have you ever seen the Gucci boss posting something like this on social media:
“Walking into a Gucci store and expect Adidas-priced bag? #dontunderstand #neitherdowe #50for5k #budgehuman”
No? Of course not. No business in their right mind would do that, even when lowballers are always contacting businesses.
A polite “no” would suffice; there’s no need to go for the passive aggressive manner, though you’d be surprised at how many people do that.

And this Instagram post:
Lest you can’t read it, here are the words:
“We bought a HDB, where is our pool and security guards and tennis court?”
“Good. Now you’re giving me a pool, guards and courts. Don’t forget the bbq pits!”
“We bought a poodle, why didn’t you send us a husky? We are big dog lovers and we deserve a husky.” #dontunderstand
#neitherdowe
#2kfor5k
#budgebride are perfectly fine and logical cos they dont normally come to us.
Get the idea now?
Let’s just say that netizens aren’t really happy with the post.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Gucci ever says publicly that low-SES people don’t carry their bags.
In private, maybe, because it’s part of their brand which they’ve built for so long.
But openly?
Not perfectly fine and not logical.
