From today onwards, fans of Starbucks will be able to get their hands on a new eco-friendly Starbucks Card in stores.
Here’s the special thing- it isn’t made from plastic, but from burlap coffee bags.
Yes, burlap coffee bags. I’m not kidding, the cards are made from burlap.
In case you are unsure of what it is, burlap is a type of woven fabric. This fabric is commonly used for transporting coffee bags from the mountains and across the seas.

Recycled burlap coffee bags will be used to make the Special Edition Starbucks Card. It’s kinda cute to have a Starbucks card made out of recycled materials that the coffee beans used to travel in.

This was released in the U.S. a few years back. Hence, this makes these cards pretty rare; making it somewhat of a collector’s item.

This burlap card is available for Starbucks Rewards members and will be yours for free when you spend a minimum of $50 in a single receipt, while stocks last.
