When you thought that getting your regular Burger King fries were sinful enough, Burger King rolls out what is set to be the new “in thing” in fast food– Chicken Fries.
What are they?
Described on its website as “white meat chicken… coated in a light crispy breading seasoned with savory spices and herbs, and shaped like fries”, it is basically a fry-shaped nugget.
What is probably most catchy about Singapore’s Burger King chicken fries is the branding. On the Singapore website it is introduced in bold lettering, “AYAM DIFFERENT. AYAM IN SINGAPORE.” Oooh. Three videos about the chicken fries have also been made, with one already released on the Burger King website, claiming “Ayam What I Am”.
Also, there are three ongoing competitions related to these Chicken Fries, where participants stand a chance to win Burger King vouchers and cash. Look out for Burger King’s Chicken Fries posters at bus stops, because they’ll come in handy if you hope to enter the competition. Full details are on its Singapore website.
The best part about buying these Chicken Fries (besides eating them, of course) is that you get stickers as well! Stickers! You get one sheet of cute chicken stickers with every Chicken Fries purchase at BK Outlets or through home delivery. These stickers are sure to be a hit among children and younger teenagers.
Are you ready to try Chicken Fries?
Ay-am.
