You know how they say the rich often hide their bling while the not-so-rich flash theirs like it’s going out of style? Su Haijin, the headline-grabber of the $1 billion money laundering saga, didn’t get that memo.

This dude’s loaded, and boy, does he love his spotlight.

And because of that, he’s made some enemies.

Our man Su Haijin, now infamous for his daredevil escape act from a swanky Good-Class Bungalow, apparently lived life large, like he was in some sort of 24/7 party lounge.

And get this, he just welcomed his fourth kiddo earlier this year.

Talk about having a full house.

According to The Straits Times, back in 2017, Su started off by renting a pad at the Silversea condo in Marine Parade.

By 2019, he and his fam (wife and three kiddos in tow) upgraded to a duplex penthouse in Gramercy Park on Orchard Road. And then, in a move that screams “Go big or go home!”, they shifted to a Good-Class Bungalow in Ewart Park in 2021.

And hold onto your hats, folks, the rent?

A jaw-dropping $80,000 a month. That’s way more expensive than the rental in Ridout Road.

Sources familiar with the matter told Shin Min Daily News that Su’s entourage included his wife, kids, and his parents and pals live just a stone’s throw away.

His folks would pop by for visits, and Su? He was the host with the most, throwing lavish shindigs at his crib.

Word on the street is that Su’s got at least three units in the same swanky development.

His GCB in Ewart Park has got a hotpot setup right in the dining area.

The fam loves their soirées, complete with bartenders and staff, living it up like there’s no tomorrow. And if that wasn’t enough, the dude’s got a mini golf course in his yard and a karaoke setup in his basement.

As one insider spilled, “His house truly feels like an ‘entertainment lounge.’ The spacious courtyard houses a mini golf course, and his basement has a karaoke room. He frequently invites friends for late-night gatherings.”

Even during the whole COVID-19 period, Su’s place was buzzing.

Drop by around 9 pm, and you’d see these quirky rabbit-shaped lights among the trees, lighting up the place like a Christmas tree.

Moreover, after dining with notable figures on Orchard Road, Su would share these photos with acquaintances, showcasing his influential connections. With his ostentatious displays, he has garnered some disapproval from certain quarters.

Making enemies just for your ego; not exactly worth it.
