For 30 years, Liverpool fans have cried. All these years without a Premier League title.
But fans stayed strong and didn’t give up. They made memes to cope instead.
And today marks the end of a meme era. No longer can Liverpool losing memes be made… because they finally won the Premier League.
Random Fact: Lee Hsien Loong Congratulated Liverpool Too
It’s such a big deal that PM Lee has even posted on Facebook to congratulate Liverpool today.
In his post, he wrote:
“Woke up this morning to find an email from a friend – a lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC – telling me the glad news. He was over the moon – Liverpool has waited 30 years to win the Premier League title. It just shows that hard work and perseverance pays off in the end, but good fortune helps too!
Congratulations to all LFC fans – hope you are strictly observing safe distancing precautions while celebrating! – LHL”
Wait, PM Lee communicates with friends using email and not Whatsapp? Today, I learnt.
But you know what tastes really good with the sweet, sweet taste of victory? Hint: Liverpool FC.
FC doesn’t just stand for “football club”. It also happens to stand for “fried chicken”. What better way would there be to celebrate FC except with more FC?
And I can do you one even better.
How about FREE fried chicken?
