In the past, people used to say, it’s not what’s on the outside that matters, but inside.
When I said this to the wise old man, here’s what he said: “That’s bullshit. Plastic surgery didn’t really exist back then. It was ugly, or you get uglier.”
Now, before you decide to murder me with surgical knives, I’ll say that everybody’s opinions differ on this subject.
Some go, ooh why not while others be like your body is your temple.
But the man we’re going to talk about belongs to the first category.
Thai Dancer Rejected From Theatre For His Looks
Meet Ratchadapong Prasit, a 23-year-old dancer from Thailand.
(No, that’s not 715)
Not a bad looking dude, in my own humble opinion.
But the theatre in Pattaya, Thailand, he tried to apply to certainly don’t think so. So much so that they’ve rejected him seven times for “various reasons”.
Started Saving Up For Plastic Surgery & Underwent a Transformation
Now, most people, after getting rejected by their dream job for seven times, would probably go about their way, finding other stuff to do.
Not Mr Prasit though.
He sold shoes to tourists and start saving up for a transformation.
And two years and thirty surgeries later, here’s what he looks like.
Woah.
Thailand’s Choi Minho
If you think he looks familiar, that’s because he is.
His role model, or at least the model he’s modelling after, is Korean hottie Choi Minho
In fact, he has changed his name to Min-Ho.
But the most impressive thing is, he didn’t do his cosmetic surgeries in Korea. He did them all in his home country of Thailand.
In total, he spent roughly S$12,500 on minor surgeries on eye & nose injections, and multiple surgeries to his forehead, nose, chin, and mouth.
So there you are, thinking, is it worth it?
For Mr Prasit, It Is
After becoming Thailand’s Minho, Mr Prasit said that he’s had newfound success.
For one, he has joined the dance theatre that he was previously rejected from.
He had also gained some fame, appeared on several TV shows and made it to the finals of One Man, a Thai talent show.
But looking that good doesn’t mean he’s going to slow down.
And we don’t blame him.
After all, he feels that it’s the cosmetic surgeries that helped him achieve his dreams and gave him the confidence to do things that he wouldn’t be able to do in the past.
Well, as long as he doesn’t go crazy and overdo things, he’ll be okay.
