How many of us can say that we look anything like a celebrity?
This guy can.
The Thai Vin Diesel
Recently, Facebook photos of a man living in Chiang Rai, Thailand have gone viral, and it’s pretty easy to see why.
Doesn’t he look familiar?
Here’s a better clue.
Yup, this guy dresses like the Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, and judging from his Facebook photo edits, he knows it too.
Even without captions on most of his photos, most netizens were able to tell who he was modelling his looks after based on Diesel’s iconic bald head and cross necklace, a sight often seen when Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto appears in the Fast and Furious movies.
With his photos chalking up over 77,000 shares, there’s no denying that the internet has found some form of amusement through his posts.
He has also garnered numerous fans on the social media platform, with them making Fast and Furious-themed photo edits (like the photo above) for him.
And while he’s gotten the fame, he definitely hasn’t forgotten his fans – he thanked those who enjoyed seeing his photos on Facebook in a heartfelt post.
Over the past few years, he has also used various profile photo frames from the Fast and Furious franchise, as well as songs from the movies in his workout videos.
(Yup, he’s been doing this for years. Time for all of us to find someone as loyal as this guy is to looking like Diesel.)
More Than Just Dominic Toretto
And it’s not just about Dominic Toretto for this superfan.
Sometime in September last year, he also shared this throwback photo on Facebook:
From the looks of it, it seems like he dressed up as Richard B. Riddick, a character also played by Vin Diesel in the 2004 film, The Chronicles of Riddick.

Apart from the usual photos of him posing in plain white or grey tee-shirts while sporting a cross necklace, the Thai lookalike also posts videos of him working out with various gym equipment.
But the funniest video on his page probably has to be this one:
With his face deepfaked onto Vin Diesel’s body, the short clip features various scenes from movies that Vin Diesel has acted in.
And dare I say, you almost can’t tell that it’s deepfaked.
