Thailand Former Prime Minister Spotted Buying Ice Cream
Mr Thaksin Shinawatra, Thailand’s ex-prime minister, was buying ice cream from Uncle Chieng’s ice cream cart outside Takashimaya Department Store on 9 September 2019.
According to a Stomper, everyone started taking pictures with him once Uncle Chieng took a picture with him.
This was the second time the ex-Thai PM had visited Uncle Chieng.
His first visit was in 2016.
Not The Only Famous One Who Has Visited Uncle Chieng
A quick look at Uncle Chieng’s Facebook page revealed that many other overseas celebrities had visited him before.
Hong Kong celebrity, Deborah Lee has also visited him before.
This wasn’t her first visit.
And recently, Indonesian Fashion Choreographer Papah Edwan popped by too.
And tourists love him.

Maybe the next time I’m at Orchard Road I will give his store a visit. Who knows, I might be able to bump into one or two celebrities while I’m there!
