Have you ever had an unfulfilled childhood dream? One that involves you and your pals jumping around and pretending to be a circus guy performing some high-end gym tricks?
Well, dream no more. Make it a reality by heading over to the Amped Trampoline Park!
Some Fun Facts
People, you can actually burn some fat while you’re on the jump. The calories that need to be burned in a 30-minute run can be done on a trampoline in 10 minutes flat! And this is no ordinary research, as it was studied by NASA itself.
You’d also be sharpening your motor skills as you bounce on the performance trampolines and foam pits.
About the Place
The trampolines at AMPED are the best kind. It’s made out of materials that are sourced from the US. You’d get the best bounce experience.
There are time slots for children, adults and pretty much for people from all walks and ages. You could even rent their facilities and have an unbeatable birthday or even wedding anniversary celebration.
What to Know During Your Visit
For starters, you’d need to sign a waiver form before you enter the jumping area. On top of that, grip socks is a must for both safety and hygiene purposes. You could either – bring your own, buy a pair online or purchase a set at the counter.
Come at least 15 minutes early to check in, so you don’t lose any precious minutes. The jumps are charged on hourly rates. The prices depend on the outlet you go to, the timing and the day too. Bookings have to be paid in advance and are not refundable.
There are capacity cut-offs so the best way to go about getting yourself a slot is to book it online. You might be disappointed if you walk in on a weekend and it’s full inside.
The staff will verify you based on your ID at the door, so bring your NRIC over or have a copy of it saved on your phone.
Where to Go
There are currently two AMPED trampoline parks here in Singapore – Jurong East & River Valley.
Are There Age Limits?
The hours are divided into three segments – kids aged 11 and below, 12 years and above, and one for all ages. A child who’s below the age of 4 has to be accompanied by mum or dad (at no extra charge to the parent).
As for kids between the ages of 4 to 11, a parent or guardian must be on guard in the park. There’s really no minimum age, but it’s best if your kid knows how to walk and jump to get the best bouncy bits in his/her life!
