After the cronut craze where people went cro-nuts and cro-zy over, we now have the doughnut cone. When is this going to stop? NEVER, we hope. The cross-over of the two greatest food of all time is a blessing sent from heaven. Now, you can indulge in twice the amount of calories at a single go – what’s better than that! Shh – if you eat both of them together in one sitting, the stomach doesn’t know, just like how the woman below ate two slices of pizza together.
Literally, the doughnut forms the ice cream cone, and comes with a generous dollop of ice cream. Also, it’s not just a normal circular doughnut. It’s a form of traditional Czech donut called the trdelnik. It’s basically grilled rolls of dough sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
The new twist on it is that they have added chocolate sauce, walnuts and generous sprinkles of cinnamon sugar all over it. To top off the sinfulness, there is also ice-cream – perfect for a hot summer day like any day in Singapore.
Unfortunately, we haven’t seen this being sold in Singapore yet, but we are positive that it will come out soon!
