Previously from Bangkok, April Bakery has been very well-known for their home-made pies. Till today, there are more than 60 outlets of in Bangkok itself and they are still as popular as ever!
The bakery has since landed in Singapore at Tampines MRT and many people are now flocking over to the stall to get their hands on these amazing pies/老婆饼!
Flavours include Thai Milk Tea, Orh Nee, Soy Bean and even Green Tea!
The best part? They have flavours like Thai Milk Tea, Orh Nee, Soy Bean and even Green Tea! YES, imagine a 老婆饼 with flaky crusts stuffed with lots of orh nee with a ginko nut right in the middle. It’s just like having a bowl of orh nee – in a 老婆饼!
Plus, the bakery also prides itself in avoiding the use of butter or preservatives – so you are sure that whatever you are eating is very healthy!
Even if you don’t like yam, there are still other popular sweet flavours for you to choose from, from Thai Milk Tea and Green Tea. If you are craving for something savoury, you can also opt for options like honey pork, honey chicken, and pork with gravy.
