Make no mistake; many people tend to have shitty days at work.
But to experience it in a literal form?
Well, one can’t help but feel for this particular security officer, who was unceremoniously doused in a cup of faeces on 14 October 2020 while performing his line of duty.
Man Admits to Throwing Faeces at an Officer During Police Lock Up
According to TODAYonline, the shitty incident transpired at the Woodlands police division headquarters’ lock-up.
Sulaiman Abdul Majid Maricar, who was arrested the day before for stealing from a vehicle, had been given lunch earlier in the afternoon.
Apparently, the mealtime fare included a paper cup.
Possibly taking inspiration from a wildly viral video on the net (we’re just speculating about this particular point), Sulaiman decided to clear his bowels…
In the dangerously small paper cup.
Later on, the security officer, Mr Lim, would swing by to collect not only a used lunch packet…
But also a surreptitiously filled paper cup, which was hurled wholesale at him.
Suffice to say; it was not the most pleasant cup throwing incident of all time.
The officer would go on to report the incident to the higher-ups, before taking on the unenviable task of cleaning himself up.
Crimes
Apart from hurling shit at unsuspecting security officers, Sulaiman also faced charges for various offences including stealing a motorcycle, and stealing from a lorry and an Eating House’s cash register.
He was accompanied by his then-girlfriend Nurul Natasha Roslan at the time of offences, whose situation currently remains unclear.
On Friday (28 May 2021), the perpetrator pleaded guilty at a district court to the use of criminal force on an Aetos officer, and five other charges.
He will be sentenced on 16 June 2021.
Shit-related Offences
Unfortunately, it appears that instances of criminals abusing human faeces aren’t quite limited to the aforementioned case.
Back in early 2020, a then 49-year-old man purposely smeared faeces on his white top before a hearing.
He had been convicted for the alleged rape of two 14-year-old girls.
The offender, Isham Kayubi, also refused to change into a fresh set of clothes, and was stated to have left a path of faeces at the Supreme Court.
As a result, the hearing is believed to have gone on with a foul smell in the air.
