Li Chun typically falls on 3rd February or 4th February and this year, it falls on 3rd February.
So on 3rd and 4th February this year, be prepared for long queues at ATM deposit machines because everyone is going to try their best attempt at HUAT-ing this year. If you still don’t know what time you should do so, here’s a feng shui table for you!
Many people believe that if you deposit your money on Li Chun according to the chart, it will bring you good luck and fortune throughout the year – even after Chinese New Year!
In the chart, the different timings are titled “very auspicious (大吉)”, “auspicious (吉)” and “unlucky (the grey boxes)”, which is different for every zodiac sign.
The chart even tells us what colour to wear when depositing money for every zodiac sign! For those who have not started shopping for Chinese New Year yet, now’s the perfect time to do so. You even know what colours to aim for this year!
Other than depositing money during the “golden” hours, people also avoid withdrawing money on Li Chun as it signifies a loss of wealth. But I mean, since there are machines that allows both withdrawing and depositing functions, it’s up to you to pick the right options!
