Tom Holland’s many things: youthful, Spider-man, fit, Spider-man, humorous and did I mention that he’s Spider-man?
Yeah, he’s Spidey.
But here’s the thing: while Tom Holland might be a lot of ‘positive’ things, he has also been slapped with a ‘less than positive’ moniker:
Someone who gives spoilers away.
In fact, if you were to look through all the interviews he did with various hosts before, you could probably formulate your own Avengers timeline right there. Add in Mark Ruffalo and you’ve got the full package.
Peter Parker and Bruce Banner, ladies and gentlemen.
And lest you’re wondering, yes, one of them has done it again.
To add on, it’s probably the one you expected.
Tom Holland Did It Again, Revealing a Major Spoiler in Avengers: Endgame
It seems that Tom Holland’s at it again, though this time he might’ve gotten himself in slightly hotter water than he has ever before.
During a recent guest stint in The Graham Norton Show to promote the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, the actor talked about that huge, huge twist that’ll serve as the bridge between Avengers: Endgame and the latest Spidey flick.
“The film is a direct continuation of Avengers: Endgame so we deal with the ramifications of the blip, of the death of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.),” he said.
“Sorry if anyone hasn’t seen the film! If you haven’t, then you’re living under a rock, to be honest.”
Now, it has to be mentioned that the movies came out a cool two months ago, and that even the directors themselves have lifted a self-imposed spoiler ban on the audience. So with all things considered, you would think that Tom Holland’s spoiler, while definitively straight-to-the-point, is pretty much fair game.
Well, apparently not according to these Netizens.
Despite the movie being released so long ago that there’s gonna be a re-issue with new footages soon, some Netizens still opted to cry foul.
Watching #thegrahamnortonshow and would like to thank @TomHolland1996 for the spoiler of #AvengersEndgame you tit!!!!

Husband has been diligently avoiding #endgame spoilers. Tom Holland just spoiled it for him. He’s devastated; I am finding it hilarious. #GrahamNorton

Well, as someone who once avoided Avengers: Endgame spoilers like the plague only to find out some pretty nasty stuff right before I saw the movie, I would say that I understand their feelings only too well.
But still… it’s really fair game now
And as other Netizens pointed out, Tom Holland really wasn’t doing anything wrong. Technically.
People really out here getting mad at Tom Holland for revealing an Endgame spoiler when that shit came out months ago and the internet has already spoiled it for most. Plus, it's Tom. What do you expect. He is a sweet bean, leave him alone. xD

We were waiting for it to come on to Sky – we have a one yr old and never go to cinema! Not so much living under a rock!! #spoiler #Tomholland

aside from the fact it's been out for *2 months* and if you haven't seen it you were never going to see it, there is absolutely no way these people will have avoided spoilers right up to the moment Tom Holland talked about Tony Stark's death on Graham Norton on Friday.

There are people out there who think movie "spoilers" happen even after 2 MONTHS and they get mad.
I can't IMAGINE they hadn't already heard said Endgame spoiler in 2 MONTHS and if they couldn't manage to it in 2 MONTHS tough.
Tom Holland did nothing wrong. Get over yourselves.— jennifer puebla (@CabsPuebla) June 23, 2019
To anyone upset with Tom Holland "spoiling" Avengers Endgame, get over yourselves. Endgame has been out for MONTHS, and so has the lift on the spoiler ban. Also, the Spider-Man trailer references Tony's death. It's your problem if you haven't seen the movie at this point. 🙄

Well, I guess there’s a Spiderman version of Civil War happening right now, alright.
Spiderman: Twitter War.
And so… what do you think?
Is it fair for Tom Holland to voice out such an important spoiler when there are people ‘living under a cave’? Or is it, as some Netizens preach, entirely fair game? What do you think?
