Two Men Jailed and Caned for Raping Intoxicated 16-Year-Old Girl in Admiralty Park Public Toilet

A 16-year-old girl was raped in a public toilet at Admiralty Park after a night of drinking with friends.

The incident, which occurred on 27 March 2022 at around 9:00 PM, involved three men who took advantage of the intoxicated victim.

Court Sentences and Charges

Isnari (name transliterated from Mandarin), 22, and Amin (name transliterated from Mandarin), 23, were sentenced on Monday, 7 April 2025, after pleading guilty to rape charges.

Isnari received 12 years and 6 months in jail with 12 strokes of the cane, while Amin was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in jail, also with 12 strokes of the cane.

The two men faced multiple charges.

Isnari, who was 19 at the time of the offense, faced four charges including rape, trespassing into the women’s toilet, and sexually assaulting the victim with his fingers.

Amin, who was 20 at the time, faced three similar charges.

Details of the Incident

On the day of the incident, the victim met with friends and encountered Isnari, who knew one of her friends.

After watching a movie together, Isnari suggested drinking and purchased a bottle of gin and six cans of Red Bull.

The victim asked to join, and they went to Admiralty Park.

Amin and another friend, Laden (name transliterated from Mandarin), 24, also contacted Isnari and arranged to meet.

In total, seven people (four women and three men) gathered on benches at Admiralty Park for drinks. The victim became tipsy after consuming several glasses of gin mixed with Red Bull.

When the victim felt nauseous and wanted to vomit, Isnari helped her to the women’s toilet, where he pulled her into a cubicle. He then sexually assaulted and raped her.

Meanwhile, Amin and Laden noticed the pair had been gone for some time and checked the women’s toilet.

Upon discovering Isnari raping the victim, they recorded a 52-second video of the assault.

While Isnari continued to rape the victim, Laden left the toilet, but Amin entered the cubicle and sexually assaulted the victim, forcing her to perform oral sex.

Laden later returned to the toilet and also assaulted the victim. Eventually, Amin and Laden left, but Isnari remained and continued to rape the victim.

When Isnari and the victim finally left the toilet, she was unsteady on her feet. During the assault, she had repeatedly said “no” and “don’t.”

The prosecution noted that the victim was too intoxicated to resist Isnari’s actions.

Her family blamed her for the incident, causing their relationship to deteriorate. She now struggles to trust men.

Isnari’s defense lawyer claimed he had not collaborated with the other two men in committing the crime. Amin’s lawyer stated that his client acted on impulse.
