For all the animal lovers, you’re gonna wish this happened to you.

Imagine being picked up by your Uber at the end of a long day and turns out you’re not the only passenger in the car – there’re two more cutie pies to accompany you!

An Uber driver, with a YouTube channel by the name of Do GOOD Jonathan, went to the animal shelter, picked up two adorable puppies, who are both trained, and went around colleges to pick up passengers.

In the video, you can see how pleasantly surprised the passengers were the moment they saw the special dogs that’re gonna be with them for the ride. To no surprise, there are people who are allergic to dogs; Jonathan replied in the comments that he did bring up the issue of allergies to shelter/owners he’s working with.

They assisted him in finding dogs who do not shed, since the shedding is what will often cause an allergy. Not only that, he also mentioned that he always had emergency services on standby.

You also can see from the video that if there are passengers who are uncomfortable or allergic to the dogs, Jonathan will put the dogs on his lap or on the front seat – away from the passengers. One of the passengers was attending a special engagement hence Jonathan was seen keeping the puppies with him in the front.

At the end of the ride, most of the passengers are so reluctant to let go of the puppies and some even wanted to take them home!

So bringing such special service in Singapore, will it be as welcomed as the video – which was filmed in the United States?

We all know it’s impossible to please each and every one and in Singapore, we have a percentage of the population who are Muslims, who might not like the idea of coming in contact with dogs. In addition, there’re also a number of Singaporeans who are scared of dogs – no matter how cute they are.

In my opinion, this kind of special services is still feasible as in a way it’s promoting adoption of dogs from animal shelters. It would just have to be even more carefully planned if this were to be carried out in Singapore. I am an animal lover myself so it would really make my day if I receive such service when I’m taking Uber. Is there a higher rating than 5-stars?
