Taipei Market Photoshoot Showcases Couple’s Playful Side
The 34-year-old comedian, now based in Los Angeles, chose several locations around Taipei’s markets and local food spots for the pre-wedding photoshoot.
The images show the couple in front of a street food stall, sharing ice cream at a claw machine arcade, and posing under a shop sign that says “cute” in Chinese.
Not bad, not bad, very cute indeed.
In one set of photos, Sabrina wears a sleeveless midi-length white dress with a veil decorated with bows, while Ng sports a white T-shirt with a black blazer and black pants.
Another set features Sabrina in a brown dress and Ng in a short-sleeved button-down shirt.
One of the more unconventional shots shows the couple posing in front of a lingerie and sex toy shop, adding a humorous touch to their engagement photos.
Fuiyohhhh!
The photoshoot was captured by photographer Karren Kao, whom Sabrina thanked in the Instagram caption for “bringing our vision to life and being so supportive throughout the process.”

Sabrina revealed that Kao even went shopping with them to find outfits and comforted her when she “cried in the bridal shop.”
From YouTube Fame to Marriage
Ng revealed on a November episode of his podcast Haiyaa With Nigel Ng that he proposed to Sabrina in Japan during cherry blossom season in April 2024.
This will be Ng’s second marriage, as he has previously mentioned on his podcast that he is a divorcee, though details about his ex-wife are not known.
Ng rose to internet fame in 2020 for his character Uncle Roger, a middle-aged Asian man with an exaggerated Cantonese accent who uses catchphrases like “haiyaa” and “fuiyoh.”
The character went viral after Ng posted a video critiquing a BBC Food video on cooking egg fried rice.

Since his rise to fame, Ng has embarked on a stand-up comedy tour from 2022 to 2023, which included a stop in Singapore in June 2022.
The tour has since been released as a stand-up comedy special on American streaming platform Hulu.
Beyond his comedy career, Ng has also ventured into the food business with a chain of five fried rice restaurants called Fuiyoh! It’s Uncle Roger in Malaysia.
