The Singapore Police Force website actually has a list of private driving instructors in Singapore, along with their passing rates. If you’re looking to learn how to drive, it might be a good idea to consult this list should you be considering going private.
However, there are two things to take note of as you look at the list:
- A Private Driving Instructor may be working on a part-time or full-time basis. A part-time Private Driving Instructor will usually have fewer private students compared to a full-time Private Driving Instructor, who will have more time to teach more private students.
- A Private Driving Instructor may be operating on his own or working for a Private Driving Centre with a group of Private Driving Instructor. A Private Driving Instructor operating on his own will usually have fewer students compared to a Private Driving Instructor working for a Private Driving Centre.
Basically, if an instructor has incredible passing percentages, it might be because of a small sample size.
The lists are separated by driving centre, and class 3 or 3A. As the lists are really, really long, we’ll just show you the top 5 for each category (those with more than 30 students), then link you to the actual site.
