For many, a proposal is just as important as the actual wedding. Some take it very seriously, coming up with the most elaborate plans to make their significant other happy.
And then there are those who propose with a condiment packet.

Nothing can beat this guy’s proposal, however. He set the bar so high that other guys shouldn’t even bother coming up with creative ways to pop the question.
Man Proposes To GF With A Modified Animation of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ In A Movie Theatre
When Sthuthi David, a cardiologist, went with her boyfriend Lee Loechler to watch “Sleeping Beauty” in the theatre, she thought it would be a night out like any other.
But unbeknownst to her, Loechler, a Los Angeles-based filmmaker, worked with Australia-based illustrator Kayla Coombs to re-animate part of “Sleeping Beauty”, his girlfriend’s favourite movie, to include her and himself in it.
Loechler shared a video of his proposal on Facebook, saying “It’s not every day you get to propose to your High School sweetheart.”
“For the past six months I’ve been working with Kayla Coombs to animate Sthuthi and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty.
“The only thing better than seeing the smartest person I know completely dumbfounded was knowing we’d get to live happily ever after together.
Enjoy!”
Sleeping Beauty looks… different
The video is a split-screen video that shows both the film and Loechler and his girlfriend Sthuthi.

Weird things start happening when the prince goes up to kiss Sleeping Beauty (which is already weird if you think about it).
As the prince approaches Sleeping Beauty to plant a kiss on her lips, Sthuthi’s face becomes increasingly confused, and Loechler keeps glancing at her to see her reaction.
And when there’s a close-up of the princess’s face which looks nothing like the original princess, Sthuthi is even more puzzled. She may not have realised it at the time, but the princess actually resembles her.
And then she sees that the prince too, looks nothing like the original character and looks a little like Loechler.
It’s safe to say that she’s more than slightly bewildered.

The prince proposes
Now, I’ve never watched Sleeping Beauty (or I have and I’ve completely forgotten what happened) but I’m pretty sure that the prince never proposed to Sleeping Beauty.
So, when the prince takes out an engagement ring to propose to Sthuthi, she becomes so dumbfounded that her eyebrows threatened to meet her neck.
Then comes the reveal: the animated prince tosses the box and Loechler jumps to ‘catch’ it.
He then gets down to business; he gets down on one knee and proposes.
Just before he proposes, Sthuthi realizes that the theatre is filled with their friends and family.

Loechler then pops the question, saying “I love you with my whole heart including all of its ventricles, atriums, and valves.” (He’s not a weirdo, she’s a cardiologist, remember?)
He then asks her to marry him, and she says yes!
At the end, Sthuthi amusingly says she thought there was something wrong with the movie, after which an “alternate” joke ending titled “Sthuthi Says No”, plays on screen.

Sometimes, as this sweet couple shows, fairytales do come true.
