Just a week after an elderly man was found dead at Golden Mile Complex’s car park, a 24-year-old woman was found dead at Sim Lim Tower’s car park.
Here’s what happened.
24YO Woman Found Dead
In an Instagram post that has since been taken down, the police blue tent can be seen on a ramp at the entrance to Sim Lim Tower’s carpark.
If you didn’t know, the blue tent is used for deaths.
Officers and a police car could be seen in the picture too.
In an interview with 8World News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) received a call for help at about 9:35 pm on 3 March, Friday.
When they arrived at Sim Lim Tower, they found a 24-year-old woman lying motionless at the car park entrance of Sim Lim Tower. This was on the ground floor of the building.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
Alleged Suicide Case
In a Facebook post on 3 March, someone who claimed to be a passer-by said he saw many police cars around the building. He claimed it was a suicide case: “Alamak someone just jump down”.
In the comments, he then asked an eyewitness what happened. The eyewitness claimed he was near the incident scene playing games when he saw the alleged suicide happen.
The original poster (OP) recalled how he witnessed a suicide case a few years ago and that it took him a few months to recover from that traumatic sight. He then suggested that the eyewitness might need to go for counselling.
Police Ruled Out Foul Play
A police spokesperson said that no foul play is suspected based on preliminary investigations.
For those familiar with Singapore news, we know that when foul play is ruled out, it often becomes a suicide case. However, nothing is confirmed as of writing.
Police investigations are still ongoing.

Happened A Week After a Similar Case Involving an Elderly Man
This case was surprising, mainly because it happened less than a week after a similar case occurred at Golden Mile Complex.
On 25 February, an elderly man was found dead in the carpark of Golden Mile Complex. The 70-year-old man was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The police classified that case as one of unnatural death, with preliminary investigations ruling out homicide. Investigations are still ongoing for this case.
