Cash is definitely an invaluable asset.
But to what extent would you protect it, exactly?
According to Channel News Asia, a woman in China reportedly caused quite a scene when she climbed into an X-ray machine during a security check.
The reason?
She was fearful of losing the cash in her handbag.
What happened?
The incident happened in Dongguan, Guangdong province, local media reported.
On Sunday (11 Feb), security staff at the station were shocked when they spotted an image of a person on their X-ray machine display. Kneeling on all fours, the person was lined up neatly alongside the luggage on the belt.
As it turns out, it was a woman who was purportedly concerned about losing the money in her handbag.
Having obediently put her suitcases through the machine, she had walked through the security checkpoint holding a smaller handbag. However, security staff at the scene reportedly told her that the handbag would also have to be checked.
Reluctantly returning and placing it on the conveyor belt, she then decided to accompany it for the ride, so to speak.

On a related note, Dongguan Railway Station staff have warned passengers not to hop onto X-ray machines, stating that radiation given off by the scanners can be harmful.
Thoughts
While I certainly fear losing my hard-earned money, I wouldn’t really risk some mutant symptom in the future over it.
Just think about it. Cash can be earned back.
But years of your life can’t.
So folks, don’t follow this woman’s example.
